Soft Proofing and ICC Profiles

Soft proofing is using your calibrated and profiled monitor, combined with ICC profiles of your selected print media, to preview how an image, photo, or document is going to look on print output.Soft proofing before you print can save valuable time and money.

If you don’t own a calibrated monitor like a LaCie, Eizo, Sony Artisan or Apple, or a monitor calibrator like an Eye-one, Colormunki or a LaCie Blue Eye Pro, stop here. You cannot soft proof.

Please Don’t embed our paper profiles into your files, these should only be used for print preview with Photoshop’s soft proofing function. All files must be submitted in RGB mode using the sRGB working space.<

Below are our ICC paper profiles.

Once you’ve downloaded the profile, PC users should right click on the file and choose “Install Profile” to install it on your system. Mac users will need to move the profiles to the “colorsync” profile.  This folder is located as follows: (HD>library>colorsync).

Please check periodically for new and updated information.
